We love a bit of Sex in the City. We don’t know what it is but there’s just something about Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda that we can’t get enough of. Even now, years after the show’s run ended, we still find ourselves coming back to it every so often.
Perhaps a few of you were as in love with the show as we were?
For us, Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie was the lynchpin of the show. We loved all of the girls but it was Carrie who really captured out hearts. With her signature Cosmopolitan in hand, she drove every major event in the show.
It’s a testament to Parker’s abilities as an actress that she was able to do that for so many years.
But it’s not her Parker’s acting talents that we want to focus on here.
Parker’s Pursuit of Wine Perfection
If you’ve been keeping up with your wine news, you may know that Sarah Jessica Parker has just unleashed her own little vino on the world. And while it may not be an Italian wine, it’s certainly worth your attention.
She’s teamed up with New Zealand’s Invivo to create the Invivo X, SJP. And this is more than just a celebrity branded wine we’re talking about here. Parker worked closely with the winery to create an amazing product, as she says herself:
“I have thoroughly enjoyed the collaboration with Rob and Tim from Invivo.
“Every part of the process from our initial conversations discussing wine styles, to the creative process on the brand and label design and of course, the sauvignon blanc blending session; it’s all been one exciting step after another.
“And a thrilling education in the business of winemaking.”
The end result?
A Sauvignon Blanc that’s sure to tantalise the taste buds. Parker’s adventures into the world of wine got us thinking a little bit more about this most famous of wines. And we’ve come up with a few reasons why you should try a Sauvignon Blanc for yourself, be it Parker’s or any of the many Italian wine varieties that we have in our store.
Reason #1 – It’s Just a Cool Wine

Unfortunately, we haven’t managed to get out hands on any of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Sauvignon Blanc. It’s a fairly limited wine and it’s only just come out.
