And if you\u2019re anything like us, you like to use social media to talk about the things that you really care about. The things that inspire such passion in you that you can\u2019t help but shout about them to everybody you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things like Italian wine and food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social media is the perfect tool to use for expressing your love for Italian wine. And in this article, we\u2019re going to give you a few ideas about the types of social media posts you can create to get people talking about your adventures with wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post #1 \u2013 The Classic Photograph<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a post as old as social media itself. For some reason, humanity collectively decided that one of the best ways to use these remarkable social tools was to pull out a camera, take photos of the food and drinks sitting in front of us, and then post them for the world to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re still not quite sure we understand exactly why we do this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We just know that everybody does. And when you want to start a conversation about your Italian wine, a simple photo post is one of the fastest ways to do it. Try to get a pic that includes a glass of the wine, the bottle, label, and anything else that could be a talking point. Everybody loves a little factoid or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those small scraps of knowledge that collect in our brains are like fuel for people who are obsessed with trivia. So, why not feed those people with interesting facts about the wine you\u2019re drinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could talk about anything, from the history of the producer through to the region that the wine comes from. And best of all, the little factoids you share are easy to source as there is a wealth of information online for you to research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post #3 \u2013 The How-To<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s say that you already know a lot about Italian wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You know how to pour the wine properly. You understand how to store it so that its qualities are preserved and you know why ageing changes the qualities of the wine. You\u2019ve collected a ton of knowledge about wine and how it works during your years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why not share it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re sure to have friends on social media who enjoy wine but don\u2019t know a lot about it. Maybe you could post a few helpful how-to posts that give them some basic steps for how to store their wine or what they need to consider when pairing. The little snippets of information will help people enjoy their wine much more, which is never a bad thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post #4 \u2013 The Blog Update<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you\u2019re just like us and you love talking about Italian wine so much that you\u2019ve created a blog. Or, perhaps you\u2019re a traveller who has toured Italy and has plenty of experiences with wine, food, and culture to share. Your blog provides people with insight into your life and your adventures with Italian wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But nobody will read the thing if they don\u2019t know about it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why not use your social media accounts to let people know when you have a new blog post ready for them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lot of content management systems, such as WordPress, have functions that allow you to share your blog posts automatically. Use them to get more people to come to your blog and, ultimately, get more people talking about Italian wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post #5 \u2013 Ask Questions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you want people to talk to you about Italian wine?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask them some questions then!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask questions about their favourite wines. What do they look for? What notes do they enjoy in their wines? Do they have a favourite producer? A favourite wine?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By asking questions you\u2019re showing your followers and friends that you\u2019re interested in what they have to say. And if you\u2019re interested in them, they\u2019re going to feel more engaged with you, which eventually leads to more in-depth conversations about wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who doesn\u2019t love a good meme?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instantly sharable, we could go as far as to say that memes are the unofficial language of the internet. Everybody chuckles at them. Everybody shares them. And that means they\u2019re perfect for you to use as a way to spark wine conversations over social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what do you need?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A picture, ideally one that\u2019s either fun or that makes sense in the context of the text attached to it. Then, you just need a bit of text or something funny to say about wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combine the two and you have a meme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post #7 \u2013 Comment On Other People\u2019s Posts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okay, so this last one is cheating a little because it\u2019s not a type of post that you can create. Still, it\u2019s a great way to get into conversations with people about the Italian wines that you love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All you need to do is search out a post that talks about wine and post a comment on it. More likely than not, you\u2019ll have somebody reply to that comment and now you\u2019re talking about wine on social media. There are even plenty of groups dedicated to wine that you can join if you\u2019re struggling to get into conversations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Final Word<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social media is such a powerful tool, as we see in so many aspects of our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, why not use it to talk about and share your passions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
