Women in reasonably <strong>good health<\/strong> that drink a <strong>regular glass of wine<\/strong> on a daily basis are actually far less likely to become overweight as the years go on. This was determined by a Harvard study in 2011, conducted on more than 15,000 women. But is this really true, and how much can wine help with <strong>weight loss<\/strong>? We\u2019ll explore it all in detail here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Previous Studies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>People who are true wine aficionados have perhaps heard of one of the most amazing compounds found in wine &#8211; <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"resveratrol (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Resveratrol\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>resveratrol<\/strong><\/a>. This chemical is a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"polyphenol (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Polyphenol\" target=\"_blank\"><em>polyphenol<\/em><\/a><strong> <\/strong>that is contained in the grapes\u2019 skin. And this represents a <strong>powerful antioxidant<\/strong>; one that\u2019s known to mobilize fat and lower the rate of<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" triglyceride (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Triglyceride\" target=\"_blank\"> triglyceride<\/a> accumulation in both humans and mice. Some studies also indicate it\u2019s important for the long-term regulation of bodily fluids; something for which<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/completehomespa.com\/salt-spa-halotherapy\/\" target=\"_blank\"> people go to halotherapy<\/a> could also be achieved with wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heck, animal studies have shown that resveratrol could also work to make   white fat into something called <em><strong>\u201cbeige fat\u201d<\/strong><\/em>; a more <strong>benign substance<\/strong> that our bodies burn off more easily. Plus, polyphenol is known to suppress appetite, something that people with food issues may<strong> benefit<\/strong> from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only problem with these findings is that they largely come from studies conducted on animals. Plus, certain German researches indicate that you can\u2019t simply take the antioxidant properties of <strong>wine<\/strong> by just drinking it; they claim that a specific supplement is needed to <strong>achieve<\/strong> the wanted <strong>results<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lose Weight With Red Wine<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, if you drink <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"red wine (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.xtrawine.com\/collections\/red-wines\" target=\"_blank\">red wine<\/a> in moderation, it will actually help you improve the inner workings of your blood flow; meaning that your cells will get all the nutrients they need much faster, and the oxygen they require for <strong>fat-burning<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, a glass of red wine is known to increase<strong> <\/strong>your free <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"testosterone (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Testosterone\" target=\"_blank\">testosterone<\/a> <\/strong>levels and reduce<strong> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"estrogen (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Estrogen\" target=\"_blank\">estrogen<\/a><\/strong>. Keeping all of this in mind, red wine definitely helps you achieve an environment that\u2019s more anabolic; speeding up your metabolism and <strong>reducing fat<\/strong> storage simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While this all sounds great, there is something of a catch. Notice how we\u2019ve mentioned a glass of wine, and drinking in <strong>moderation<\/strong>? That\u2019s because there is still a certain threshold of alcohol intake, where all of the positives dissipate and you arrive in a truly troublesome territory. There, the alcohol isn\u2019t harmless anymore &#8211; you\u2019re in <strong>danger<\/strong> of becoming a binge <strong>drinker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Red Wine Effects On Body<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Generally speaking, occasional <strong>inflammatory stress<\/strong> (like the one you get from drinking red wine) is critical in the production of fat-burning hormones; though that\u2019s also something you get from exercise as well. But if you leave your moderate drinking unchecked, you will be left with some very <strong>dangerous side-effects<\/strong>. Plus, you\u2019ll lose all of the benefits we\u2019ve described above as well &#8211; because your body will need to do some overtime in order to handle all of the constant stress. Your <strong>hormonal balance<\/strong> will be reduced to nothing, and your systems will constantly be strained; not a good state of body nor mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, for people who are not big drinkers &#8211; know that there are other ways to get all of the nutrition that you need. If you take in a lot of vegetables and fruits, you\u2019ll get all of the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"antioxidants (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Antioxidant\" target=\"_blank\">antioxidants<\/a><\/strong> that you want to have from a glass of<strong> wine <\/strong>anyway. Even without the alcohol, you will be looking at a well-optimized hormonal balance.
