And yet\u2026your best friend is completely the opposite. They turn their nose up at red wine in favour of a good Italian<\/a> white wine. They don\u2019t seem to appreciate all of the same things that you appreciate about wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019re rather have the refreshing and acidic tastes of a good white instead<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s make one thing clear here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to Italian wine preferences. Whatever you enjoy is absolutely what you should spend your money on. We\u2019re going to speculate on that in this article. And for the purposes of the simplicity, we\u2019re going to stick to the differences <\/strong>between red and white wine lovers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

After all, if we tried to dig deeper into specific regions or types of wine<\/a>, we\u2019d be here all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And of course, this is all a bit of fun. We\u2019re just going to point out a couple of personality traits<\/strong> that we tend to see depending on the type of wine people enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s kick things off with red wine lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If You Love Red\u2026<\/a><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2026Then there\u2019s probably no sweeter thought to you then getting back home and getting nice and comfortable with a good glass of wine. In the winter, you\u2019re cuddled up by the fire reading a nice book with a wine glass in hand. The lights are low and you melt into the couch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To you, red wine is all about relaxation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Away from the comforts of home, you\u2019re extremely confident and very intelligent<\/strong>. That isn\u2019t to say white wine<\/a> lovers aren\u2019t, of course. It is perhaps more indicative of the fact that you really enjoy a challenge. You want to discover something new with each sip of wine and a good red gives you that opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re also not afraid to speak up<\/strong> when you have something to say. And when it comes to relationships, you value comfort just as you do when you\u2019re at home. You cherish the idea of a long-term relationship<\/strong>, especially if it\u2019s with somebody who shares your passion for a good Italian red wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, you love a good meal. Who doesn\u2019t?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But you really relish the opportunity to experiment with different wine and food combinations. For you, a new dish isn\u2019t just an opportunity to taste a food that you\u2019ve never tried before. It\u2019s also a chance to try different types of red wines to see which flavour profiles match up. If you\u2019re at a restaurant, you\u2019re going to take your time with the wine list. In fact, you\u2019re probably going to ask for a little advice to ensure you make a choice that suits the meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re more relaxed personality<\/strong> also shines through when it comes to the holidays you take.<\/a> Any opportunity to relax and sample even more wines is one that you\u2019re going to grab with both hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Put it like this\u2026you\u2019d prefer Paris over Ibiza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And dare we say it\u2026you may just be a little bit more mature <\/em>in your thinking. But don\u2019t quote us on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if you love White\u2026<\/a><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2026Then it might feel like there aren\u2019t any positive personality traits left after reading that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But make no mistake about it, you\u2019re just as wonderful as your red wine-loving friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A white wine lover is usually the life and soul of the party<\/strong>. You love every opportunity you have to get out and about among people. A social animal<\/em>, you prefer white wines because they keep you refreshed and able to enjoy the more active lifestyle that you lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re also just as intelligent as a red wine drinker. However, you tend to have a more practical side<\/strong> to you. That doesn\u2019t mean you don\u2019t enjoy a good book every now and again, of course. But you\u2019d rather be doing than reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your love of bright and refreshing wines also extends to your fashion sense. You\u2019re much more likely to experiment with the weird and wonderful when it comes to your clothes. There\u2019s no outfit that you\u2019re not willing to try. After all, you could always move onto the next one if it doesn\u2019t work for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And finally, you\u2019re just the same on vacation as you are when you\u2019re at home. You love a nice day on the beach <\/strong>with a glass of white wine in hand. But you really live for the night when you can let your hair down and really get into the groove of things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buy the Italian Wine That Suits You Best<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Like we said before, there\u2019s nothing hard and fast about any of this. You probably see bits and pieces of yourself in both sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But then, it\u2019s also rare for somebody to drink only red or only white wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most important thing of all is that you love the wine that\u2019s in your glass. Whether it\u2019s red or white, don\u2019t worry too much about what it says about you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
